Bruno Pocheron (born 1968) studied visual arts in France, lives in Berlin.

He works internationally mostly as light designer, but also as technical director, set and sound designer.

He creates performative installations based on his lighting practice, such as Mehr Licht [Mir so schlecht] (2021), a synesthetic performance for 33 low voltage light bulbs directly powered by sound, in which licht is to be heard and sound is to be seen.

He's currently involved in stage projects with Mette Edvardsen (Oslo), Alix Eynaudi (Vienna), Philipp Gehmacher (Vienna), Lina Gomez (Berlin), Anne Juren (Vienna), Nikolina Komljenovic (Zagreb), Sara Lanner (Vienna) and Dan Su (Berlin) amongst many others.

He develops software interfaces in PureData and vvvv, allowing for a fluid communication between lights, sound and video and researches the dramaturgical impact of these elements.

He is co-organizing : Tanzhalle Wiesenburg (Wiesen55 e.V.), a collective working space in Berlin-Wedding / Gangplank, an open network of artists and designers focusing on inter-media communication, relations between technology and art, and cross-overs between the fields at play in contemporary performance-making / Fencing Borders, a documentary project concerned with the local impacts of the fencing-off of the Schengen borders.

He is part of the lighting designers collective, which has recently been granted a 4 years research position in the Kask art school in Ghent, Belgium.
